One lesson coach Weiss can take from this series is that the Azkals definitely have the skill. During the past 6 months, he has taught them how to play a passing game.
Now, I suggest he concentrates more on a faster-paced game.

Congrats Kuwait! It was a blast watching the Azkals played with the big boys. Dont you guys wished we drew Singapre instead of Kuwait. Singapore aggregate win against Malaysia 7-6. I think we will be more succesful with these guys. Anyways, we will still see them in Suzuki Cup. We Believe!! I was actually hoping that we could be in with either Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, or Thailand. We might have a better chance on advancing to the 3rd round and play some more extra games in the group. I thought that was the best case scenario. But in the end, I'm still not disappointed. I'm just a little down coz I think we had a great chance of getting the draw or 1-0 win in Manila after the first half. Now I can't wait for the next games. On another note, we need more Schrocks in the national team. Team play still needs improvement. And we need defensive reserves not to mention age is starting to catch-up on some of the defensive players. I think the best combination of all the called up players can beat any of the top SEA team consistently but better players will always be a desire. I've only followed this team since last year but it's rare to see a program turn things around so fast like what the Philippines NT has done. Very exciting. here's the answer to your prayer of having more shrock quality players. @snowbadua: DAN PALAMI: Kasing level ng laro ni STEPHAN SCHROCK ang apat na bagong players na kinakausap namin sa EUROPE.

I have mixed feelings on this... On one hand, it's good to get the best players possible. But on the other hand, what will become of the other players on the team? Then again, having an absolutely complete lineup is rare. I don't think the sub players will be affected much.

Youre right, it's rare to have a complete lineup especially for those tournaments that we are eligible to join since most (if not all) of them aren't part of the FIFA calendar.

I'm wondering if Jonathan De Guzman is one of the 4 players based in Europe that Sir Dan Mentioned..

What a massive boost for Philippine football if Jonathan De Guzman would play for our country.

I'm hoping Mr. Palami is referring to Alphonse Areola and Jonathan De Guzman.

I think the Azkals need a star player like Lê Công Vinh of Vietnam who had 7 goals already. Yung magdadala sa kanila every game. Stephan Shrock was amazing. Kung matagal2 na sana siya sa Azkals maybe they had a bigger chance to win against Kuwait. But after all, They played a nice game against Kuwait, imagine #95 vs #162. I'm happy that there will be new great players coming. And I don't care na hindi sila mukhang Pinoy, as long as they play for our country. and another, Neil Etheridge needs to improve alot. Kuwait's goal keeper killed Neil Etheridge on both matches.

Neil is a very competitive keeper. its no brainer the blues can score goals....what you should be asking are 2 things: gano kababang goals ang pwede nating i concede sa kalaban and how good is our defense in containing those goals from happening tsaka consider about his saves...hindi lang yung sa kuwait matches....
