his season just started mate, Hoffenheim were probably not to keen on letting their star player risk injury...[/b]

XD Bader Al Mutwa and Yousef Nasser. Nasser is the guy who scored the 1st goal against us, the one who spats the linesman xD. Al Mutwa is the current top goalscorer for Kuwait. I think the GK who prays inside the net, Khalid Al-Rashidi had a tried out for Nottingham Forest but denied a Work-Permit same story for Al Mutwa. Fahad Al Enezi or that #7 Kuwait Ronaldinho is the only one I know who can pose a threat against our team down the right wing, hope Cagara can cope against him if Al Enezi plays. I can only predict that Al Azraq will win 1 or 2-0 w/ their full line up.. Positive result could be 1-0 win w/ Angel Guirado scoring via set piece. I'm having a thought placing Angel on DM and put up Mulders on AMC, cause he got better passing ratio than Angel, i think Mulders made more assist than Angel? But Angel is an Attack Minded player, he probably lose the ball down often on our half. But if he can play more defensively he can at least narrow the angle in the middle and add up chances winning those headers, and maybe tuck in Al Enezi. xD

www.interaksyon.com/interaktv/azkals-endure-six-hour-wait-at-kuwait-airportAzkals endure six-hour wait at Kuwait airport Some members of the Philippine national men’s football team were forced to stay at the airport in Kuwait for six hours due to the delay of the arrival of their visas. The Azkals, who are in the last stretch of their Middle East training tour, arrived on Saturday at the Kuwait International Airport at around 1:14 p.m. but stayed there until 7 p.m. while waiting for their visas, which is required for them to enter the country. “Stuck here in Kuwait airport… for 5 hours now,” goalkeeper Ref Cuaresma wrote on Twitter during the wait. An hour after, he posted a picture showing his visa. The Kuwait Football Association, through its official Twitter account, apologized for the incident. “We extend our deep apology to Philippines Team and Community, the delay at airport was beyond our control,” the association said. The Azkals will play against Kuwait, the same team which ended their campaign in the World Cup qualifiers after prevailing 5-1 in aggregate, in Kuwait City as the last match of their Middle East training tour. The games part of the Azkals’ preparations for the ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup, where they look to surpass their historic semifinal run two years ago in teh same tournament.

Geez there always seems to be a problem when our team goes abroad, from visa fiascos to opponents backing out from matches. Our boys deserve better.
On a lighter note, I'm excited for this match! It'll be a tough one to be sure, though!

Does anybody know why Schrock isn't playing in these friendlies? They are on FIFA match dates and the team could have used him against these strong Middle Eastern teams.

Middle East friendlies are preparations for AFF Suzuki Cup , and he will not play in AFF Suzuki Cup , I guess that is the reason ? Dont know if he declined a callup or PFF did not call up him.

I'm in agreement with jonny. Stephan already expressed that it's highly unlikely that he'll be able to participate in the Suzuki Cup. I'll wish until the last minute that Schrock can play though.

Dont know if he declined a callup or PFF did not call up him. so does that mean all the euro-based players who will play tomorrow will also be available in the Suzuki cup? That is good question , some will be available , others not : Rob Gier , he is just playing club matches for Ascot United when he "wants" , I expect him to be available. Jerry Lucena , his club is fighting for relegation . I doubt he will play, except a small chance for Nov 27 Vietnam match. Dennis Cagara , he is just sitting on bench , maybe club will release him. Angel Guirado , in starting XI for his club , not much chance... Paul Mulders , a squad player for his club, I expect him to play in AFF Suzuki Cup Neil Etheridge , his club is playing on AFF Suzuki Cup dates. Doubtful Ray Jonsson , season finished , should be available Roland Müller , PFF believe he will be available.

I'm on my 24hr vigil for the game I don't think we'll be catching the Kuwaitis napping like we did Bahrain. I also hope that Weiss will have a gameplan to take into account the opponents strength and weakness(whatever it is). I've got to admit, I wouldn't mind "parking-the-bus" in this game and living off counters because our team overall is pretty good at it compared to our WCQ team even without Schrock as seen by our performances in 2012. It's just me being an arm chair general, and I don't envy what Weiss and his staff have to go through to prepare for this match. I'm calling it a miraculous draw versus Kuwait! Or at worst a close 1-0 loss
