How about a scoreline guess?
My guess would be 2-1 in favor of PHL

Thailand is a silent killer, they didn't have a game for 8 months but yet, their cohesion is still there and despite problems FAT is facing right now, they are not hampered by this.
Thailand should not be underestimated as they have home advantage and one of ASEAN powerhouse. I really wish PHI could make a miracle in Bangkok this time

Thailand's coach Winfred Schaefer is very experienced and has a very good reputation. Unlike our coach, he does not need a lot of time to get his team organized. It will depend upon how our defence will handle their quick transitioning attacks. Hopefully all our starters on defence will be available.

Thailand's next victim ASC2012: Bhutan and Bangladesh Next for ThailandNovember 08, 2012 BANGKOK (8 Nov 2012) – After seeing off defending ASEAN champions Malaysia in a friendly last night, Thailand will take on Bhutan and Bangladesh next as they gear up to restore their place as the kingpins of regional football. The Thais showed that despite the lack of time they had with the players and even though they were missing the likes of Datsakorn Thonglao and Teerasil Dangda, the hosts still had the firepower to shut down Malaysia to score twice through Prayad Bunya and Arthit Sunthornpit. “We played well but we still have a lot to do before the tournament begins,” said Winfried Schaefer, the chief coach of Thailand. Thailand will play Bhutan on 14 November before taking on Bangladesh three days later. For the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 the Thais – three time winners in 1996, 2000 and 2002 – are in Group A in Bangkok against Vietnam, the Philippines and Myanmar. www.aseanfootball.org/?p=10582
If they win these matches then even though what's the outcome of their games in Suzuki Cup, they will still overtake Philippines again in the next world rankings. As of now, they're scaring their opponents. I hope Azkals won't scared with them despite Chieffy said were still underdogs in our group. Hoping for miracle

Azkals to play 'conservatively' vs ThailandABS-CBNnews.com Posted at 11/08/2012 7:40 PM | Updated as of 11/08/2012 7:40 PM MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Azkals are expected to play a cautious game against former titlist Thailand when the 2012 Suzuki Cup kicks off on November 24. The game will take place at Thailand’s turf in Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok. Azkals coach Michael Weiss said they are anticipating a strong attacking game from the Thais who are out to please the home crowd. “The first match will be interesting from the point of view that we will play a little bit conservative and really go for strong counters,” said Weiss during Suzuki Philippines’ sendoff for the Philippine team. “[Thailand] has to do something home because with the home crowd they cannot go for defensive work. They have to score earlier,” he said. Thailand is a former three-time titlist having won the 1996, 2000 and 2002 editions of the Cup. The Philippine-Thai match is set at 9:20 p.m.( Manila time). This will be followed by a match against 2008 champion Vietnam on November 27 at 6:30 p.m. The Azkals will wind up their Group A matches on November 30 against Myanmar at 9:20 p.m. The tournament will be a single-round series with the top two teams in Group A advancing to the crossover semifinals against the two topnotchers in Group B. Group B features Suzuki Cup defending champion Malaysia, runner-up Indonesia, Laos and Singapore. The semifinals will be a home-and-away series starting on December 8 with the Group A winner tackling the Group B runner-up, while the Group B victor faces the Group A runner-up on December 9. The second matches will be played on December 12 and December 13, respectively. The winners of the crossover semis by aggregate goals will dispute the Suzuki Cup in another home-and-away series set December 19 and December 22. www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/11/08/12/azkals-play-conservatively-vs-thailand FIFA AND ELO RANKINGSPHILIPPINESFIFA = 143, ELO = 162 THAILANDFIFA = 152, ELO = 116 In ELO, they're 46 places above us. Still despite we're higher in FIFA, they're still stronger than us.
