Congratulations to the Pinoy booters! This is a testimony of their hard work they exerted in these past 2 years! Angel Guirado and Phil YH did what they deserve. They deserve winning goals.

The other thing about EdSa is his distribution -- pretty good. I paid particular attention to it this whole game to determine how good he is as an overall GK. Sometimes we forget that bringing the ball up, kicking to the midfield, or passing to the LB or RB is random, but it's not. Congratulations to him too.
Let's go Azkals!

For me the greatest part of this game was the steady, constant pressure from our defense. From Edsa to Cagara to Gier to JdJ I thought the D did an outstanding job, and far exceeded my expectations against a speedy MYA offense. Great job guys... A game where the long ball tactically perhaps made sense with the MYA players pressing forward leaving our guys more open down the field, culminating in the great combination leading to Angel's excellent goal. PYH had a great goal, good moves and finish, Phil you made us proud today and got that all important goal early on in the second half which we needed to push MYA back. One last note for Reichelt - every time he had the ball he seemed to be challenging the MYA players, with good guile, acceleration, and ball handling. Patrick will be a long term prospect for the team!
Congratulations coach, good defense today forming a solid foundation for the team to go forward, was happy to see the subs come in, even Omphroy at the end to shut the game down at the closing moments.

if you guys dont' mind, where will the semis be held? (RMS?) The first leg of the home-and-away semifinals is set on December 8 at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium, which would be the first Suzuki Cup final four match that will be played on Philippine soil. In 2010, the Azkals were forced to play their home leg in Indonesia because of a lack of suitable venues in the Philippines. The second leg is slated on December 12. www.interaksyon.com/interaktv/azkals-book-historic-win-over-myanmar-back-into-suzuki-cup-semifinalsI hope Angel's Indian club cooperates and releases him again as there is still a question on whether they will do this. Angel is such an important part of our team as we do not have another player with his combination of speed, height and heft that can dominate opposing defenders.

I'm still on a high with this win. History has been made and how apt that it falls on Andres Bonifacio Day.
Congrats to the lads. Way to go Azkals.
This time the long balls has been effective.
Also wanna mention that Cagara has been solid on his side.

I Am also observing those throws and Goal kicks coming from a GK how accurate they are and it seems EdSa is very accurate.
