MULDERS WAS OUTSTANDING!! I wouldn't say he was outstanding, but he does play a very important role. I felt he was extremely underrated by the AKTV panel. Unfortunately, I believe his play is lost to those who anticipate only the spectacular, but his imposing figure and good control of his area is quite important. On another thing I noticed, loved Phil's screaming run after his goal. Does anyone here miss "The Philly" dance? Mulders is what we here in the States would call a "holding" striker. A forward whose job is to receive a long ball in the final third while the rest of his team mates get settled in; set-up in front of the goal. A tough job but perfect for Mulders because he is very well built, strong, and has excellent ball control. Coach Weiss deserves merit for using Mulders that way.

ngern, it is like the target-man role. receive the ball up front, then keep until your teammates are able to get up front. as far as showing our strength and depth, we had 4 different goal scorers, for the 4 goals we scored. and we still have some who has not put in their marks, such as angeles, jyh, and reichelt.

A good pat on the back also for coach weiss. We have been very critical to him early because of his lack of trust in his bench, but in their last 5 games all game changers came from the bench so good job to him. The back four is now very solid (hope cagara stays till the end), and the midfield is becoming more patient in executing plays where they tend to go back to the backfour to reorganize the attack when midfield is too crowded, JDJ has improve a lot specially his ball handling and decision making with the ball

Angel went emo after his goal and after the final whistle. he must have been thinking he had the best decision of representing the PHL again. just praying he'll still be here comes DEC.8. His hardwork on the pitch payed off, with due respect to others:) LABAN PILIPINAS! LABAN AZKALS!!!!!

ANGEL "TANQUE DE GUERRA" GUIRADO scored again!!!! the way ANGEL operates, his mobility, the ability to play physical, the way he used his body to protect the ball, and with his height and heft, ANGEL looks like a true TANK. Very heavy, very strong, very tall, yet very swift, fast and quick. RUGGED BUT MOBILE! just lobbed or tossed the ball up front, either the defense comes from left, right or front, they will always makes the way for the TANK. ika nga "ANG BABANGGA, GIBA!!!! last nyt, i dont know how many times, he lost the ball easily, he tends to dribble too long, yet i always remember, his imposing presence always. his commanding headers, his workrate, his amazing drive versus the VIETS and his powerful maneuver against the BURMESE that resulted to the goal. MABUHAY KA ANGEL!!!

I think the players who were off in the Myanmar game were Reichelt and Wolf.
Wolf (maybe bothered by an injury) was replaced very early by Angel Guirado. The coaching staff needs to know if all players are fit before the game. As pointed by Coach Hans Smit, you don't take kind of risk in an important match. Hope Wolf is completely healthy on Dec. 8 and 12 as he will still be a potent threat as CAM or substitute striker for Phil.
Reichelt was being too much fancy with his defenders. He's still young so maybe the coaching staff needs to point out to him he just need to do is to make quality crosses to the forwards upfront.
Lastly, I was hoping Chris Greatwich to come in as a sub but Omphroy was still a bit late coming in.

again, this game scoreline couldn't have been 2-nil had the referee blew his whistle for Angel Guirado's foul. he signaled play-on as Carli stole the ball and lob it to Angel. props to the referee

The lineman raised his flag, but the referee signaled play on because the MYA player got it back naman and quickly passed the ball forward. Not our fault that Carli managed to get it back quickly. What I have noticed though after watching several replays of the match is that PhilYH looked offside to me when he received the long ball from De Jong for our first goal. But the MYA defenders didn't bother to raise their arms to call the attention of the linesman so the linesman didn't raise his flag. Watch the slow-mo replays from various camera angles and see if you notice the same thing. Anyway, it seems nobody's complaining about it naman and we still win anyway.

I think what Leisure Suit Larry / Hans Bigalow, Male Gigolo meant was that Mulders is wasted in that position just in front of the 2 CBs. He's clearly better playing his natural position as CAM, and sometimes second striker depending on the formation chosen.

The number 14 makes Him Onside, before the pass from De Jong He is offside and then he comes back thats why the number 14 makes Him onside and then De Jong timed it perfectly. If you watched the Equalizer of Juventus over Chelsea on the first round of UCL thats how it looks like when JT makes the Juventus striker onside.

Much has been said about Bob G.'s faves among our NT's roster but there's no question his devotion to the team as fan. He and Craig Burrows looked so adorable in their bahag and headpieces. I also saw Bob wiping his tears while singing the National Anthem. Such a proud moment.
