The game reservation tickets can be exchanged either at the PFF office in Pasig from Dec 4-7, or at Rizal Memorial, on game day, Dec 8. i called the PFF office to ask until what tme they will be open for the ticket exchange. the lady told me that although office hours is only until 5 pm, we can still redeem the official tickets until 8 pm. i plan to exchange my reservation tickets here to avoid the chaos on match day

there is a 35-man proviosional lineup for this tournament, right? Correct me if I am wrong but from this 35-man lineup we pick the 22-man roster. What if you have 1/4 of your players got injured throughout the series? Can you pick some from the other 13 players who were left out?
cut the chase... in the absence of Cagara, Lucena, Angel Guirado, Jonsson, and possibly Mulders can we fill up the 22-man roster with Porteira, Uy, Beloya, Moy, and possibly Shrock?

Got my ticket awhile ago (went there in a hurry as I am too excited LOL), the lady that we've talked to also told us that they will also be exchanging reservation tickets right on the venue (starting at 8AM Saturday) but they would prefer people to exchange their reservation tickets ahead of time to avoid inconvenience. BTW, the ticket looks neat

from what i know, we can only replace any players in the 22-man squad if he is injured. having a club commitments is not a reasonable case where we can replace him with another player.
the bright side is if Jonsson's injury is serious, we can replace him with another guy who was a part of the initial 35 man line-up. talking about this guys, we have Mark Hartmann, Schrock, Porteria,Uy and etc. i have a feeling that Schrock will be a bench-warmer again on their next game against Hamburg so it could be better for him to play for us but it all depends on their manager. by the way their manager Markus Babbel has been sacked after a poor start by their club

@ donsyete - you calling for support for our team is actually inspiring... but of course minus these: This is a rare feat or let say just a start of many good things to come not only for Philippine football but also Philippine Sports. May it be any type of sports, we filipino have learnt to be the most supportive bunch throughout the years such as during Pacquiao's fights, Philippine basketball, bowling or billiards. funny how in football we support international clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea, AC Milan and more. but what's more funny than that is how we support other COUNTRIES during the world cup such as Brazil, Spain, England, Italy or France, more than we support our very own football team ---- the Philippine Azkals. Bear in mind that football revival is still in its budding stage. To promote this beautiful sport to our kababayan who are mostly boxing/basketball fans, we should appeal not to their conscience but rather convince them that we, Filipinos, have a massive potential to excel in this game. We should also, as one of the few avid footbal fans in the Philippines, should have the "unwritten pact of responsibility" to educate those who are starting to get curious about this sport. And we should give credible information and never appear like common bandwagoners (hindi porket nakiki-Azkals ka lang tapos kung di mo man lang kabisado ang rules ng football edi mamumukhang bandwagoner or sabay-sa -uso ka lng). And regarding that remark about those who are fans of international clubs: I find no real connection to our National team. National support is totally different in club support. No one can contest someone who will support his country's team over a multi-millionaire club team. Heck, some even of us here are fond of Fullham because of Etheridge (which is even a bench player to start with) or Hoffeinheim because of Shrock. i have been a football player and fan since I was 5 years old and grew up in Brunei, I was and still is very proud that football is starting to pick up here in the Philippines, and I have been an avid Man United fan since then (10years old and that was in 1995 cantona and beckham era). I did not say there is something wrong in supporting these clubs, what I wanted to get across is that like me and many of us, even if we started by supporting other teams, we should channel that same interest into the AZKAL team no matter what. Why? because I used to have conversations with my teammates back in the days, that IF ONLY PINAS HAD A TEAM for us to fully support - the point is, we already had before just not that competitive unlike today. but now, football is picking up here in Pinas, there is no reason for us not to support the team because if we could do it on a passionate way for foreign clubs, then we can do the same to our own. I did not mean the players choosing the club or country over the other. I meant the Filipinos fans. Those who just support the foreign clubs but then finds it easy to ignore our own team. The latter even being ironic, most girls (fans or bandwagoners) support SPAIN last world cup or other countries and we buy all their jerseys and stuff. nothing wrong with that. not condemning it. just saying, I hope we could do the same for our Philippine team. We were the Philippine jersey during games, or use it as fashion statement just like how we do with Spain, Brazil or France jerseys. I did not say STOP the your support to foreign teams. I just hope and still hoping that we could be like Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, where during premier league games they support the EPL teams but when there is a national game, they are always in full support (all out with matching jerseys and face-paints) all through out the country and not only at the venue. That is what we call national pride. we have our TEAM now. lets show them we love our own team as much as we love other clubs (MANUTD or REAL madrid) or international team (brazil, Spain etc).

I find it weird Weiss called up Lucena who could only play 3 games. We can't add players after losing one due to club duties, correct?

Hehe. Wasn't he serving a red card suspension when he joined part of the Azkal's SE Asian tour?

if i may just chime in. your points are valid but i think you addressed them to the wrong audience. I believe most, if not all, of the members of this forum are already die hard supporters of the NT. I don't think a casual "fan" would bother to participate here. We all have the kits and the paraphernalia. some of us even make our own which we all display when we watch the matches live. So your post, which i'm sure was well meant, might have rubbed people the wrong way.

It comes off a bit preachy, in my opinion, which I feel wouldn't attract Pinoys to the semi finals but would make them scoff at it instead. Everything else in the original post sounds great though.
