Just like every coach in the Philippines. First, the coach will received praises like his a messiah. Second, a small group of people speculates his plans and methodologies. Fourth, bandwagon takes place when he starts to lose matches. Fifth and last, REPLACE!REPLACE!REPLACE! people treats the coach like a garbage who never did something to Philippine Football.
I just like to say that we also needs to grow up as fans. A national team is a constant audition. There is never a "secure/automatic spot" for any player. Everyone is replaceable and it should be that way.
So what, if Sato doesn't have a European experience. Do you see how he play?. Also the problem with us fans, is we put Europe into a pedestal. Don't get me wrong I can see why. Europe is the most recognizable platform in football. But people don't realized that Asia too is a great continent for football. That's why European teams scouts players in here. But come to think of it, people failed to recognized that Sato came from "Urawa Red Diamonds" from J.League which is comparable to most top flight teams in Europe.

On my end, I would have to disagree with you on your first point. There are threads here when Coach Weiss first started. You can look it up. At that time I and a few others, was already expressing disappointment at how disorganized the team looked like which I thought was so unGermanlike(my word for it). That is quite different from when Dooley coached his first game and the praises he was receiving for the short passing and combination play that we were seeing for the first time from the Azkals. Our team under Dooley was very organized right from the start.
You might have a point on how we perceive European players to be, but that is based on the level they are exposed to and by and large European leagues are definitely at a higher level. Having said that I am actually impressed by how Sato has performed so far and I think we can win the Challenge Cup with him at left back for the next few games. Let us just hope he doesn't get injured or redcarded(speaking of which, isn't he carrying a yellow card already?).
Does anybody have a clear picture on our team card situation as a whole?

I thought all cards are wiped clean for the semis? Unless there's a red card in the last group match, which we didn't have.

First of all I never mentioned that Cagara felt slighted or that there was some kind of conflict with Dooley. What I said was his employer or any future employer might question why he is not starting on the Philippine national team and a 19 y/o player with no European experience is, when they might need him there to help their club get promoted. I don't think it was you who was speculating conflict, my friend. Though I don't think there'll be a problem with any of his present or future clubs. His league performance should tell all in that regard and besides, a call for international duty is still a plus. But I may just be naive.

Single yellow card received during the Finals-Group Stage will not be carried over to the Semifinal match.

Well if you backread, you'll know who those forumers are hehe. Anyway nice to know the real reason. We could have been 3 man deep at LB if Jeffrey Christaens isnt injured.

It's no helping when we assume conflict on the coach and his players, that is not to criticize anymore. Look at that, it is his club and not Cagara's decision to leave the club. So to the man who said that, pwede kang writer ng showbiz article sa tabloid. But really, just shut it up, the coach is doing his job. We are winning. That is the most important. The young lads are doing their job. Mourinho really is correct, a coach should act on what the people wanted you to be. The coach is doing his ways, and I hope he will not do the things we wanted him to do. I'm sure he'll just lose the tourney.

Hmm correct me if I'm wrong but the only loss we had since the start of the Dooley era was from the Azerbaijan friendly right?

Agree to you Johnmarki, and south Americas football (CONMEBOL) are very competetive team as well, Hope we could find some talents there.
