good win for philippines pero sana maka develop tayo ng matatangkad na pitcher masyado maliit mga pitchers natin yun fastball nila di umaabot ng 90 mph short people is suited for batting inorder to have a little area of striking zone....but for the pitcher I dont see that it needed height it is all in the arm well maybe yes the longer the arm the higher the rotational force it can create, maybe further clinical and technical training for the short locals would do.

strikerbon, that shouldn't be a foul. Well still ok. It gave rise to Sacapano's great save BTW I watched the game on TV
Based on my observation, stadium is in full capacity. Cebu has much more football atmosphere than Manila. Visayan fans really enjoyed their 1st live action in the Central Visayan province As Burrows tweeted: craigburrows"RT @princegershom: Aside from Manong Ed, I strongly nominate CEBU/Cebuanos for MOTM!" He liked the strong appreciation and support of Cebuanos for Azkals and PH football Looks like Cebu could host another Azkal game soon Better than Manila in spectators watched Well Manila could have a sold out game also in AFF SC SF if we pass the group stage. My probablility for that is high i guess lets not overhype the cebu fans, fans from manila, negros, iloilo and mindanao for sure they are there also to support the team....it is a collective effort of fans around the philippines. why because like when negros host the games people from different provinces arrived also to watch the game. and yes or maybe visayan fans are passionate in this game.

Mabuhay Pilipinas ! ! ! you scored a double today. Convincing wins from Philippine national baseball team against Thailand 8 -2 in Taipei for World Baseball Classic qualifier early today and from Azkals' mauling of the Lions. nice...hope that winning tradition will extend to whole november both the baseball classic qualifying and the AFF suzuki cup.

ed sacapanio did improve alot thats is the result of tactical training from the foreign coach, while our foreign base is still here PFF should invest in training the coaches and local youth players. while looking outside PFF must start building the locals.

PHL Team Bats for Slot in World Baseball Classic It looks like that there are a few undeserving local players on this team. indeed but still as stated many eyebrows lifted of the selection, well it is the philippines sports politics and navasero dictatorship.

guess the Philppines' strength is in the pitchers, look at Espinelli, Lincecum... but yes, too few outfielders, wonder why Chris Aguila wasn't invited, I read somewhere he has Filipino ancestry. that is my concern outfielders are train to outrun long RBI, with only 4 of them 3 in the field and 1 as a sub?it seem low, maybe they will the infielder as alternate subs.....taiwanese have a decent batting average a high RBI against the philippine since late 90's......well hoping that their plan will work....

u can only have 9 players in the batting rotation. then you have the pinch hitters to sub in. indeed only 9 batters, they can use pitchers for the batting sequence as a sub, but only Javate had a good RBI records in compare to the other pitcher that have a low or has no data on the batting. anyways maybe they have a contingency plan for that. and hopefully our amatuer can crack the pitching prowess of the taiwaness, though pangilinan and laygo had a decent batting average in the amateur let just cross finger they give a homerun.

From Jonas Terrado's twitter, (@jonastsinelas) Philippine National baseball team roster for World Baseball Classic qualifiers (Nov. 15-18 in New Taipei City) Pitchers Darwin dela Calzada Jonjon Robles Ernesto Binarao Charlie Labrador Vladimir Eguia Romeo Jasmin Joseph Orillana Carlos Munoz Ryuya Ogawa Geno Espinelli Max Javate Alec Rosales Devon Bryce Ramirez Catchers Rommel Roja Chad Nacapoy Dio Remollo Infielders Leighton Michael Pangilinan Andres Vasquez William Ireton Ruben "Jot" Angeles Jennald Pareja Chris Canlas Francis Candela Jonathan Laygo Outfielders Edwin Jimenez Ryan Pineda Jonash Ponce Saxon Omandac too many pitchers, and few outfielders, pitchers will be on the batting sequence wow.....well that is their decision of all the pitcher the only clear pitcher that have a good record is Espinelli, ryuga, jon-jon robles and max javate....however ryuga, espinilli and javate was not tested yet against the taiwanese.....

same as today's fanfare, ONLY IF
1) Theres a continous local development in coaches and players especially in province from region 1 to bangsamoro region. Because if I base it in the Calamba city football grounds the development of the youth is in peril compare to last year. The field was banned from the locals to play and it is for reserve (kuno). 2) Continue development of the under 16 and under 18.....an appropriate selection of talents for the PFF training. For example the ceres-lasalle defeated Under 19 defeated the teen azkals so what happen??? 3) Sustaining the under 23 tournament this is the next seniors team and the ASean, asian, olympic age group, PFF should consider this....for example i keep asking myself what happen to the suzuki under 23 tournament? 4) Media involvement, media tycoons should consider to show live the local events not just the national team with fool gwapos and endorsement where some local fans are dieng to watch for (except to the true blood fans)...... 5) Sustaining the PFF plans for their goal for the philippines football. As we know their are a lot of epal politician and POC heads in the phl where they have no passion to support for this sport. what will happen if Palami didnt reach that long year (hoping that he still there or somebody would replace with much deeper pocket and have the same passion for the sport). We need leaders that have a desire to continue what PFF started. 6) Collegiate leagues must be flourish like the recent Sandugo Unigames where talents from various universities compete. Why not add university championship during summer like the PCCL where top 16 from various region will compete for the crown. CHED should support this one together with the PFF. 7) Lastly UFL, Negros League and other provincial leagues MUST move forward. Find a way to form an inter city competition or inter-province competition like the La-Liga. This will be the key that youths would pursue there football skill atleast they know that they have a future earning if they finish in college.
If the following items is considered by the leaders then 20 years from I would agree to jaygee20gensaya expectations, but if not I dont know maybe 10 years from now maybe we will be back on the old ways again.............
