will any of the U23's game be streamed live on the internet??? Actually it is not even sure if they will be shown locally(as in, the Philippines). But, seeing that the opponents are much more rabid fans than Filipino fans, I'm sure it'll be streamed eventually.

Perhaps Star Sports might cover the football matches, like they did with the 2010 Suzuki Cup? Considering Indonesia is hosting and they are football mad in that country.

Vietnam U-23 football squad eyeing SEAG gold By Joey Villar (philstar.com) Updated October 23, 2011 07:44 PM NHA TRANG CITY, Vietnam Here is something the Azkals' Under-23 team should ponder about: Vietnam is looking at snaring the gold medal in football competitions of the 26th Southeast Asian Games in Palembang and Jakarta, Indonesia next month. "Our main target is the SEA Games and we'll try to do good there," Vietnam's German coach Falko Goetz told English newspaper Viet Nam News. Like the Azkals, who also has a German coach in Michael Weiss, the Vietnamese are bracketed in Group B, called the Group of Hope, after drawing countries like Myanmar, Laos, Brunei and East Timor. Group A is composed of defending champion Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Cambodia, making it the Group of Death. Vietnam, which finished second to Malaysia in the 2009 Games, has started to strengthen up as it is currently competing in the VFF Eximbank Cup in capital Hanoi where it is playing the likes of Malaysia, Myanmar and Uzbekistan. "I'm happy to see strong teams participating in the tournament. Its a good opportunity for Vietnam in preparation for the SEA Games next month," said Goetz, who is expected to cut his 26-man pool to 20 a week before the football competition of the biennial meet unfolding on Nov. 7. Vietnam though has picked Myanmar, mentored by Swedish Stefan Hansson, and not the Azkals, who are 12 rungs higher than Myanmar in the current FIFA or the International Football Federation rankings at 158th, as the toughest team in Group B. Of course, the Vietnamese are legitimate gold medal contenders as they are currently ranked 134th by FIFA, the second highest ranked nation in region next to the heavily-favored Thais, who are comfortably perched at 114th in the world. Singapore is ranked 139th, Indonesia 140th, Malaysia 151st and the Azkals following suit at 158th. Come the SEA Games, the Azkals are sure to shake things up. www.philstar.com/SportsArticle.aspx?articleId=740529&publicationSubCategoryId=200Vietnam's very experienced German coach, Falko Goetz(12 years of German Club football as head coach) seems to be overlooking the Azkals. Understandable I guess, since he or for that matter anybody else including us, have never seen our full team play. He has reasons to be optimistic though, as his team has already whitewashed Myanmar's U-23 team 5-0 in the abovementioned tournament and just tied a very strong Uzbekistan team(1-1) that has already defeated the Malaysian U-23 team 3-1 as well as defeat another strong Iraqi team 2-0 in an Olympic qualifier. From these and previous results, I rate Vietnam, Indonesia as well as defending champions Malaysia as the favourites in the SEA games tournament. Regardless, nice to be overlooked. Same thing happened in the Suzuki Cup when we topped Vietnam 2-0. I bet these 2 German coaches will be shaking each other's hands this time around though. haha

It will be a BIG surprise for them, Interesting! Can't wait for Vietnam - Philippines kick off! ;D ;D

Another look at the draw and preparations made by other teams: www.thejakartapost.com/news/2011/10/20/ri-malaysia-teams-draw-deadly-group-a.htmlMalaysia is considered as the most prepared team for the Games after playing several friendly matches against Arsenal and Liverpool. “We had three months of training in Slovakia for the Games. Three of our national team members were offered to join local clubs. Six of our players for this SEA Games were the ones who played and won in the 2009 Games,” said Soccer Association of Malaysia general-secretary Dato Azziuddin Ahmad.
