A bit off...can anyone tell me if the matches on February will be televised and available online? I'm from the US and had to pay $10 to watch the AFF Suzuki Cup on AFC-Tv, so I wonder if the same will happen or if other stations (online tv) will be showing the games.
Any info will be greatly appreciated. Go Azkals!

If I run into any live stream news online I'll post it here. Am I the only one starting to feel that we shouldn't take Mongolia lightly?

I read that the organizers of the first leg at PANAAD stadium are giving free admission to the general admission section. Hopefully they will beef up security for crowd control or we might see a recurrence of the Liverpool or Juventus disasters as well as more recent African tragedies. Overcrowding can be dangerous if the facility is not ready to deal with an excessive no. of fans.

Somebody from PFF responded to me at Filipino Football when I brought this up although under the anonymous tag. He or she said that they are working with local government to address security concerns. It is under the Free Tickets for Panaad match article.
When I heard about the free tickets, it reminded me about what happened in Africa a few years ago when they did the same thing and overcrowding resulted in tragedy.
They also mentioned that the Younghusband's manager Catherine Rivilla has reserved most of the hotel rooms in Bacolod under her travel agency and they can't find enough rooms for both national teams and their AFC guests. Hope they work that out to everybodys satisfaction.

I am stuck in my house today with several inches of snow outside which got me thinking how in hell are the Mongolians gonna be able to practice in this kind of weather when it is even colder(by 10 degrees) there than here in Chicago. They will have to practice indoors and that is noway to get ready for a full pledged international outdoor football match. The advantage is all ours in the 1st leg and we should take full advantage of it by outscoring the Mongolians by a big margin.
Of course, on the 2nd leg a month later. the shoe will be on the other foot. Fortunately our Fil -Euro players will be used to the winter conditions they will encounter in Ulan Bator. The goal should be to keep it close, avoid injuries and play a strong defense.
This is eminently winnable in any case. Can't wait for it to start. I wonder who among all these new faces will make the grade.

Will the away goal rule apply here? Maybe the Mongolian team is conducting their training on a warmer country.
We still dont have news about the airing of game or which network will air it Anybody knows a somebody on the inside if talks about this is being discussed still? Well, its still to early to advertized the game. They should also allow people to watch the game online/stream for those fans abroad like the guy who is buried on a 10inch snow.hahaha i hope it gets warm soon on your end.

Not sure about the away rule being applied here.
I do know the Mongolian Football Federation's budget is even more limited than ours so any trips abroad would be difficult but then again they might have found a sponsor.
I think I remember reading on Fifa awhile ago that they can only play football there a few months every year bec. of the cold so they must be used to it. I am sure they are excited about to opportunity to host our team though since they have only hosted such games less than a handful of times in the past. Their federation was established in 1998 I believe.
I heard that the 3 networks are competing to air the games over there so it has still to be decided. This is a big change from last year when no one wanted to air the games. Just goes to show how things have changed.
Yeah, please have someone stream the games. Pretty please, please, please. ;D It won't start warming up here until March so we still have aways to go.

The Feb. 16 game between the Azkals and Mongolia has been moved to March 15, 2011. Maybe that explains the 3 games posted in that website between the 2 nations. The failed to delete the other one.

:)no offense to ian, i just think the phils. have more better strikeres to offer than ian araneta, just my opinion, he's just not good enough to be the main striker of the phil. team. -with due respect to you bro., as for me, what we really need in our Azkals team is an Azkal with a dedication, with a big heart for our TEAM. we dont really need those with a talent in their heads but without a heart for the team.

prior to the suzuki cup qualifying, lest we forget he scored a hat-trick in the Long Teng Cup vs. Macau...
and another hat-trick during the qualifying for the suzuki cup? ... he surely deserves respect!
