complied some tweets from Jaron Genota, Bob Guerrero & Jonny;
Clarino - eligible but needs to focus on studies Alquiros - needs to focus on studies Melliza - expired passport de Rama - not chosen Arroyo - not chosen Mabanag - not chosen other Kaya & Global players - not released other Ceres players(Bacolod-based) - invited but couldn't make it due to short notice/ conflict w studies
--------
They're still going to be invited in the next few weeks so they can join the training so coaches reid & padernal see them. SEAG team far from being formed. As per the coaches, no sure slots even for azkals. All must be U23. u23 + 3 rule only applies in asian games and olympics if im not mistaken. - Jaron

Was wondering about Alquiros & Melliza too since they're doing well in the UFL. Unfortunate that the Ceres boys can't join, we could have tested Tongson in the back four. I thought Arroyo is also in good form right now - apparently not yet good enough to make it to U-23. Let's see how our boys will do.

I agree Arroyo is in good form. This is more of a test squad, giving other players a chance to see the level of competition outside Philippines. Initial objective is to strengthen and broaden the pool. Team has three young central defenders with good potential. Fullbacks also are young and new. Goalkeepers have amazing potential too. However, this is just one game. There will be more friendlies in the future and squad is going change again.

Good test to see what we have. I'd entertain the Ceres-NOFA vs U23 matchup.
My thinking is this might be the starting XI vs SIN U23:
Deyto Aguisanda - Seguinal - Aguinaldo - Fernandez Bugas - Beloya - Uy - Octavio Hartmann Valmayor

Arroyo is in good form. sayang. he had a good game last night against archers, slicing through the defense.

HT Singapore 1 Philippines 0. from what I've read, Deyto is very solid so far keeping the game close after making a couple of saves
