That's one tough group... I agree. Thailand is fielding many of the players from the senior team that run roughshod over the Azkals in the Suzuki Cup and North Korea is a perennial contender in the U-23 division that won the silver the last time around, so I am not optimistic we will get past the group stage, but it would be a good experience for our young players.

I don't expect too much for them as long as they got experience and don't loss a 2 digit score like before.

Here's the full match of N korea vs Philippines yesterday..........I don't know if North Korea has a Goal keeper or Philippines intended to play a half court as they just give away the ball easily as if they don't really know how to play football, its just like they are playing tumba lata.

Well, at least we have nice uniforms. If we are going to get schooled, we might as well look stylish. Needless to say, our display of football is absolutely pathetic. To this day, I am completely dumbfounded by our players' lack of basic skills and decision making. One and two-touch passing, running off the ball, positioning ourselves to make it easier for our teammates to pass to us, etc ... I do hope we recruit good coaches at the grassroots level because our youth look like they're playing sandlot football at the international level.

I kinda agree on what you said. The tension/nervousness in our players is very visible. As you can see, everytime we get the ball the player doesn't think where to pass. They just kick it forward hoping someone would catch it. It kinda bothers me, that our players thinking is very negative. In their minds they already lost, might as well run around playing like "aggressive street kids". I'm also disappointed with our coaching staff. They are well aware of our opponents. They might have chosen to play friendlies against football clubs abroad. Where the caliber is higher against UFL clubs. UFL, is not a good place to have friendlies. In my opinion, UFL clubs gave a "pass" on our u-23 team.UFL does have a vibe which says "Take it easy on them, they represent our country internationally".
