Stephan Schrock is back in the clover. The 27-year-old has signed a four year contract for SpVgg Greuther Fürth. The winger was from 2001 to 2012 in the soccer association and denied at this time 183 league appearances for the first team. President Helmut Hack: "We all are very excited about the return of Stephan Schrock. This obligation is not an ordinary transfer, because Stephan is an absolute role model and for each Fürth something very special. We are happy that we've managed to achieve this transfer. Stephan will play an important leadership role in the long term with us. "
Stephan Schrock was trained at the soccer association in youth and developed early a crowd favorite in the second division team. In the summer of 2012, the Philippine national team then moved on to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim before he finally joined Eintracht Frankfurt. Now, "Schröcki" pleased to be back, "I am full of anticipation and insanely happy that the transfer worked. I return to my home, where my career began, I was able to experience the most enjoyable times of my career and have achieved the greatest success. My loyalty to the city and the club was always there and I know that I'm at Spielvereinigung simply at home. "
On Thursday, Stephan Schrock will resume training at the shamrock.
About the peel modalities, both clubs have agreed not to disclose.

bad news guys. Stephan Shrock has announced his resignation from the national team.
OFFICIAL RELEASE AZKALS Player Stephan Cabizares Schroeck informed Coach Thomas Dooley and the Team Management tonight of his resignation from the Philippine National Football Team (The Azkals). Coach Dooley and Team Manager Dan Palami regret the decision of Schroeck, but they accept and respect his desire to pursue new challenges. They likewise express their deep gratitude for Schroeck's commitment to the Azkals in the past and his pivotal contribution to the team and raising football awareness in the country. The team wishes Schroeck all the best in his professional career, specifically as a new member of the SPVgg Greuther Fuerth in the German 2nd division
this comes from the official FB page of the azkals. i can't believe it.

Is still to early for him to do that.... It'll be a big lost to us and the Suzuki cup is just around the corner. Can we ask him to play one last time for philippines sa Suzuki cup. Please Schrock do it one more time for the filipino people.

I think the injuries he sustained last challenge cup made his decisions. I am afraid that some of our eurobased players will do the same (neil comes to my mind). With these developments i hope our PFF will be up to the challenge of finding or building our azkals with a formidable team with or without our eurobased players. Lets remember schrock wasnt in the lineup last Suzuki Cup and we had a great run.

I am not sure what the reasons are but acc. to a German article I read he might be having problems with Coach Dooley's decisions and his apparent disrespect of the older players. It looks like Dooley's emphasis on the youth movement might not be too popular with him. www.nordbayern.de/nuernberger-zeitung/nz-sport/schrock-ich-musste-jetzt-ruckgrat-zeigen-1.3805242He says that as long as Dooley's in charge, he will not play for the Azkals. This might have something to do with Neil's tweet a few days ago about feeling disrespected and Dooley's emphasis on his player's lack of playing time with their club affecting his roster decisions(e.g. Dennis Cagara, Angel Guirado, Carli De Murga, and Manny Ott). All 5 players were not included in the Peace Cup roster, Angel, Manny and Carli was not included in the Challenge Cup and former Bundesliga veteran Dennis Cagara was largely sidelined in favor of 19 y/o Sato, who has been only with the team a few months. He goes on to say that he will not be coming back while Dooley's in charge, acc. to the google translation of that article above.

confirmed. it's about Coach Dooley. that's sad to know. Dear Fans, Because of all accuses i wanna talk to u Directly. It's not true that i dont wanna play for Philippines anymore. It was always a pleasure for me and i feel still honored to have the possibility to play for my country, the country where my heart belongs. I wanna be honest to you, cause you deserve the truth. As long as coach dooley will lead the team i won't wear the jersey of Azkals again. Anyway i'm still one of you, & i'm proud to be one of u!I wish u all the best, for the football and for the team!! I hope i will give my comeback one day!! Thank you all for your support, keep going!!maraming salamat Po!
