very excited for mark hartmann. I know with his debut, he would do good. I'm grateful that the youngsters would be given the chance to play, but I just have a question. Is this a "best" time to experiment?. Indonesia is a good side, they are very experience. They played netherlands and arsenal and it really give them a boost in terms of experience and chemistry.

Is this a "best" time to experiment?. Indonesia is a good side, they are very experience. They played netherlands and arsenal and it really give them a boost in terms of experience and chemistry. Mark Hartmann already debuted for the senior team during the Long Teng Cup in 2011. Anyway, I'm not really optimistic if coach Weiss will play the team solely for the sake of "experimenting" as I think the Indonesian side will try to impress themselves by beating the away team at all costs for those precious Fifa ranking points. I totally understand that many things are at stake when they play in Solo (the historic name of Surakarta, locals still prefer this name). Should the Philippine team win, there will be nothing to gain in terms of Fifa ranking, but it will be historic as their first win against this side for so long. On the flip side, I'm quite concerned with their security. Solo isn't exactly a civilized urban area, so police visibility is questionable. Things will heat up if the Merah Putih lose, maybe post-game the home crowd will rumble, light flares in protest, attack the team convoy or the away fans, or worse...

Solo uncivilized? sorry my friend but that is just so wrong. Solo is a frequent host of some Indonesia NT and ISL matches previously with almost no trouble at all. From AFF U19, Indonesia vs Palestine, AFC Champions league. AFC cup and ISL final in 2006. The city is much more civilized than any 2nd tier city of the Philippines such as Bacolod, IloIlo, etc ( Solo have nice airport, railway system, BRT and Railbus) The fact that Solo is a third tier city. This is Solo Now back to Football, some of you might not understand about why Indonesian fans like to say Naturalization to azkals players, even we said the same thing about our half Indo Dutch players. Its because, In our language, Naturalization means taking up a citizenship when you are not born in the country, either you have Indo heritage or not. So Yes, its different with what Naturalization means in English. Lastly, I am hoping to see Azkals fans to visit Solo, Persis solo is very famous for their friendly ultras, so dont worry, you are totally safe. PS: I went to bacolod in 2005 to see Indo SEA games football team, that was my first away in the Philippines . I hope to see many azkals fans here to do away too. It would be great to see the Philippines Ultras or casual. btw Jonny, long time no see Cheers

Ka Roger, Respect to you too mate, thanks for introducing the Ultras/Casual in the Philippines, thats the real football fans No i am not from Pasoepati, i came from the north of Central Java. Our fans actually the rival of Pasoepati, but much respect to them. Anyway here is the full lineup for next week match 1- Andritany (Persija) 2- I Made Wirawan (Persib Bandung) 3- Dian Agus Prasetyo (Barito Putra) 4- Hasim Kipuw (Arema Malang) 5- Yustinus Pae (Persipura) 6- Ruben Sanadi (Persipura) 7- Slamet Nur Cahyono (Persiba Bantul) 8- Raphael Maitimo (Mitra Kukar) 9- Taufiq (Persebaya 1927) 10- Ahmad Bustomi (Mitra Kukar) 11- Vendri Mofu (Semen Padang) 12- Stefano Lilypaly (Almere City) 13- Boaz Solossa (Persipura Jayapura) 14- Titus Bonay (Semen Padang) 15- Patrick Wanggai (Persipura Jayapura) 16- Andik Vermansyah (Persebaya 1927) 17- Greg Nwonkolo (Arema Malang) 18- Victor Igbonefo (Arema Malang) 19- M.Robby (Persisam Samarinda) 20- Firdaus Ramadhan (Persita Tangerang) 21- Ferdinand Sinaga (Persisam Samarinda) 22- Abduhrahman (Sriwijaya FC) Interesting points here: -Indonesia no 1 Goal keeper (Kurnia Mega ) and center back (Ricardo Salampessy) are not being called up because Coach Jackson want to try new players. - No Serginho Van Dijk too for striker. Because Coach wanted to try Ferdinand Sinaga. -Stefano lilipaly will make his debut if he got club permission from his club in Europe. -The U23 will also play Brunei U23 after this game. Cheers

completely different line-up for the Garudas. some names are missing, no Oktovianus Maniani, Irfan Bachdim and Elie Aiboy. this is a massive test for the azkals who are coming from a long lay-off. when are they planning to release our team roster?

It doesn't realized here, most people tend to talk about football and not talk about fanbases/support/choreo/tifo etc. But I guess the Pasoepati are gearing up. I've been reading their messages and I can guess they're ready as the "reception committee" Wanna see some pyroshows tho.

heard that Schrock and Patino will not be available for this friendly. Patino's club Buriram has a game on the same day we play Indonesia Inquirer.net by Cedelf Tupas has already reported that only Gier and Angel Guirado will be the only foreign based players that will get a call-up. I believe some of the fil-foreigners from UFL will also be missing. Chris Greatwich just got married in England , dont think he will be going. JAson de Jong and Ref Cuaresma is injured and doubtful for this friendly. Azkals will be playing afriendly on Friday against U19 NT at Emperador Stadium .
