wow i love this squad, full of youngsters. would love to see them on action. no Juani Guirado so we have only two CB's in Gier and Aguinaldo. Barbaso got a call-up after a long long while as well as Demit Omphroy. we have four RB's in the squad so i expect Carli will play at the center of the defense if Weiss decided not to start Aguinaldo. Patino and Reichelt are both listed but i doubt they will come.

basically its like b-team(philippines) vs b-team(indonesia). No ace(foreign-league) players, most are from the local league.

Solo uncivilized? sorry my friend but that is just so wrong. Solo is a frequent host of some Indonesia NT and ISL matches previously with almost no trouble at all. From AFF U19, Indonesia vs Palestine, AFC Champions league. AFC cup and ISL final in 2006. Lastly, I am hoping to see Azkals fans to visit Solo, Persis solo is very famous for their friendly ultras, so dont worry, you are totally safe. PS: I went to bacolod in 2005 to see Indo SEA games football team, that was my first away in the Philippines . I hope to see many azkals fans here to do away too. It would be great to see the Philippines Ultras or casual. Thanks for that, but I would really give my concern for the fans who come from other localities in Indonesia, such as Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. I understand they have deep sense of nationalism and if you look at social media, I observed that fans outside Jakarta and Java are those who are more unruly during national team matches, and are more vocally against the Filipino players. I know there hasn't been a significant diplomatic rift between the Philippines and Indonesia (with a few exceptions such as issues with Muslim rebels in Mindanao and terrorists), unlike Hong Kong which had a long-enduring sour relationship with Filipinos after the bus hostage crisis in 2010, and it has reflected during the recent friendly match on June 4th. I know you can't change the fact with your country's definition of "naturalization," as I understand your laws follow the "jus soli" (right of soil) principle, that means your place of birth determines your citizenship. What I won't want to see on August 14th is that, if and when the away team wins, the Merah Putih fans (with the exception you claim to have with the Persis Solo supporters) would mock the Filipinos en masse at the venue and on social media, blame our so-called "half-blood" and "naturalized" players (your definition, not ours), and wished they would not play the Philippines again. Yeah, just like Hong Kong fans have done. Bigotry at its finest.
Anyway, back to topic. I wanna bring my observations again in the last friendly match in 2012. It was during the 2nd half that Neil Etheridge was left hung to dry when Indonesia increased their attack. Nothing much he can do about it. The defence was also caught napping on both goals. Dennis Cagara played a good game but was also responsible for losing his mark, that lead to the 1st goal. It was all defensive lapses, and I seriously doubt the Philippine defensive line I see would handle it in Solo. As for the attack, I leave the doubt to Mark Hartmann. He's quite effective as a CAM in engaging and I do believe he reads the Younghusband brothers well due to their past connection at Loyola Meralco Sparks. My only concern will be on how will Phil could break through a formidable Indonesian defense.

I really hope the Azkals would win in this friendly since our basketball team won and took a slot to the FIBA World Cup.
If the Azkals lose in this friendly, for sure the solid basketball fans will troll the Azkals.
Fingers crossed for an Azkal win in this friendly.
Laban Pilipinas!!!
