to all those who criticize the team, the coach, the stategy, the formation etc, maybe before you criticize, wouldnt it be nice if you could introduce a little bit about yourself first in terms of football i.e how long have you played football or have you even coached a football team.. daming kasing maling dito eh.hehe...di ko alam kung sino ang tama or kung sino ang paniniwalaan. sa mga nababasa kong criticisms dito, parang ang dami yatang maling na football players sa pilipinas o di kaya mling na coach... haha seriously? good luck with that. people dont have to share every football background they have just so they can sound credible. Obviously, we're not all good at football or at coaching coz we're all online and yapping about it instead of getting paid for it. All im saying is this is just a discussion. Ignore the ones that doesnt make any sense and keep on discussing (or arguing) if someone else is making a logical argument. we can agree to disagree but we dont have to make it personal is all. I cant believe i got sucked in to this my self actually. I shouldnt have to explain it but this will be my last comment about it. Let's talk football

Dude i can't believe how judgmental you are, hope your children will not learn your way of creative thinking. Cuz you know what? here's the thing you weren't in the actual game with the team, so how sure are you that Weiss did not realize the open flank as soon as the Viets focused their attacks on our LB? how sure are you that Weiss did not advise the boys to help defend the right wingers of Veits targeting our left flank? How about we consider that Weiss and the coaches did advise the boys but the boys just can't handle the obligation? (Oh that's a different thing, im not advising you to blame the kids but just think out of the box and just don't focus your blame onto one person alone--- cuz for goddesses sake it's a team game-- blast someone in times like this one is No Good for the team.) How about you just stop blaming the coach/manager for the team's sake. Just for the duration of this tourney. Cuz you know what this man you're lashing wants a win more than any of us here, he's not fighting maybe for this country but atleast he's fighting for his image and credibility as a coach. I am not saving Weiss' ass here, i am for the team. Just a lil respect for the guy that figured the improvement of the games of our Nationals. Respect man! Believe me, my vote is with you if you want to kick Weiss out. But save it for later. Not this time, we still have games to go. jpesarza, brother, below is what you wrote me on page 34 reply #499 when I asked you politely to stand down on your "stfu" comment on one of our fellow members. Now you include someone elses children in the equation. What ever happen to "...I am entitled to express..." and "I have rights"? Does it only apply to you, because, from what I read, vimjonk was just expressing himself, with the same rights you say everyone here has. page 34 reply#499 "I can call him whatever I want to call him since I have bases of my opinion as I am entitled as well to express it. Sorry if ive gone overboard on this one but that’s just me, careless I may be but I have rights like the rights you have to rebut my opinions to him."
Or does the rights you speak about only goes one way? Your way? Thanks man for reminding me, but im aware of that. All im trying to say is that we do not have to resort to blaming somebody since we still have games left. Most if not all of us expected Vietnam to dominate the game which they did. Now since the result met the expectations why settle to blast someone who cares more than us to win every game. We all have the rights, YES! and once in my posts i have written that "i appreciate we have this kind of exchanges since thru these we can learn different views and opinions". True i probably have gone way beyond what i have written first but sure it's for the sake of argument. But i respect your opinions guys, honestly. Lastly and to reiterate let's just stop the blame and ssave it later. Again we still have games to settle and all of it are vital for us to advance.

of course sure na sure kami na di nakita ni weiss na nirirape na tayo sa kaliwa! how can we prove that? he's done nothing like subbing the kawawang pagod na leonora. now kita nga namin na sa tv lang kami nanonood, there's no reason na di niya makikita yun lalung-lalo na he's there in person up close as compared to us.

BTW timor leste won 2 - 1 against brunei. it was a comeback win as they were trailing 1-0. that means even though they are minnows, they showed they aren't quitters. just like all sports it's not all about talent, skills,at stamina. it's also about who has the bigger heart, the one who just won't give up so easily.
so the team and its kots better not under-estimate them since sila ang makakalaban nila sa monday.

www.aseanfootball.org/?p=6592kita niyo MYANMAR was able to do that DESPITE HAVING ONLY 10 MEN this time round, they had to do without defender Moe Win right at the hour mark for a foul on Vietnam’s Nguyen Va Quyet. 11 vs 10 defending for 30mins left. good defense goes a long way talaga.

It's hard to wake up at 4am-7am (US-time) just to catch a blurry stream. I wish we can get some downloadable versions someday. Anyone with technical knowledge and equipment to make this happen? haha

It looks like Myanmar chose the right strategy to contain Vietnam. The same team played Vietnam in a minitournament in hanoi a few weeks ago and lost 0-5. This time around they managed to hold Vietnam to a draw. It seems most likely that we need to defeat Myanmar now in order to make it to the next stage. Myanmar's coach chose the right strategy and our coach did not.

Second match Myanmar got a player red carded. That's worth noting.

By the way, the draw between Vietnam and Myanmar is going to make the standings in this group quite challenging in terms of our team's chances of progressing to the semis. Unless one of the other teams cause an upset against Vietnam and Myanmar, our match against Myanmar is going to be very critical and we'll need to beat the others as well.
