azkals 1-o bangladesh
the bengalis will play a tight defensive, counterattacking system tomorrow. they can qualify with a draw but they would go for a win to avoid complications in case of ties in points.
caligdong and james must work doubly hard to deliver the crosses for the big men, angel and ian?(yanti may not be that tall but is very good and accurate with headers). expect neil to go up in the closing minutes if the score is still tied.
azkals will win but its gonna be UGLY!!!

Geez, there was an earthquake in Myanmar now. Azkals ran down from the 9th floor of their hotel. These things are following the team!

I hope Bangaldesh don't play as dirty as Pal did with the Azkals. Imagine 3 players guarding and intentionally hitting Angel.
Saw the pictures. Most of them were giants!

Saw the news about the earthquake in Yangon Myanmar this morning, and I had exactly the same thought as Caz ...I think it is James 'Lindol' YH who's carrying the earthquake with him around! ... he even scored a goal at the same time the 5.0 earthquake hit manila last Monday. Unbelievable!!! Only with the Azkals .... they should just shake those BanglaBoys scared tomorrow and they will win ... lol

when coach weiss first came on he stated that the team will build a more offensive style of play but in this tournament i do not see that. we need a more aggresive style of attack and formation. we have a world class goalie in net for us so why do we continue to have 4 defencemen in the lineup we need to trust neil there is a reason he plays in the epl because he is that good. he is what i call a gift from the soccer gods for the philippine team. why not have a 3-3-4 formation with barsales and caligdong as wingers who can cross the ball into the middle for james and angel who have skill, height and can finish. and sabio can be the defensive midfielder who will support greatwich and lucena in the middle and can swing from left and right sides to cut off the attack. when the bagladesh team strikes we must box them in from the sides cutting off the cross or the run down the sidelines. use our talent to our advantage. neil is not the only world class player its time for the others to shine and i think they can if given room too move. always moving the ball side to side and forward just like barcelona does we can be a talent just like them we have the players for it.

when we read the twitter updates it seemed as if gener had a really bad game against myanmar, but when I saw the match he certainly wasn't as bad as sabio was against mongolia. so i totally understand why gener would be preferred over sabio. if we're fielding an attacking formation (as we should) against bangladesh then it would probably be something akin to what we fielded in bacolod against MGL, with a few modifications. my guess is: GK Etheridge RB Gener CB Borromeo CB del Rosario LB Jonsson RW J Younghusband CM Lucena CAM Greatwich LW Caligdong Deep FC Guirado Advanced FC Araneta (I guess Ian would be our poor man's Emile Heskey, if you know what I mean )

4-4-2 diamond formation tomorrow according to Dan Palami, we had drinks with him earlier this evening. Hope our reporting is okay. Missing the Philippines but pleased to be of service to the nation and to football. Off to bed now but just wanted to check in and see what is being said here. The pre-match analysis has been sent already so I hope will be on www.pinoyfootball.com soon. Thanks for all of you who are following us on Twitter. Blessings.

What's wrong with Sabio?
The only thing I don't like about him is that he gives away penalties...
