... ;Dgrabe ka naman pre.... hehehe ;D for emphasis lang iyan. i find it funny that there are lots of c****y locals astroturf brigade on this forum. they seem to find no faults on those players and always downplaying the capabilities of the Fil-Fors. if you would take it at face value without knowing the actual capabilities of each player, reading these posts would seem to make the local players miles ahead of the Fil-Fors. but in actuality these locals are nowhere near those Fil-Fors in any aspect of their footballing skills. they are not even worth mentioning in the same sentence. they seem to be bandwagoneers from the PBA mindest which is basically true in basketball but entirely false in football. Fil-Fors in basketball are paid 10 times the salary of the local players. so it is justified that they are measured in a higher standards of play. but in football, aside from the fact they are really way way ahead of the locals in talent, skills, experience and training, those Fil-Fors are not paid by anything by PFF (compare that to Smart-Gilas players salary) and in fact they incurred more expenses than those locals for their trouble of representing this backwater country of ours. and to add the risk of having career ending injuries... which might end there pofessional careers playing for there domestic leagues abroad... Guys like Etherigde and lucena are paid by thousands of dollars by their football club...

Locotes, with all due respect to your opinion of Lucena, one of the Azkal coaches said that they were quite impressed with him. He plays a simple but efficient game. He doesn't dribble too much because he doesn't need to. And yes, as veryfatchocobo (what's up with the name? ) said he's only played a few games for us. He hasn't even adjusted to the humidity in our part of the world yet. Lucena is equivalent to 10 Aranetas and 7 Caligdongs ;D hahha nakakatawa ka talaga..hahaha.nagtry out ka cguro before sa NT no? hahaha

sorry to break your conversation...
But going back to the De Jong topic, I think he deserves a second chance. The guy is still young and can change especially now that his "attitude problem" has been brought to light. You can't expect people to change if they don't know what their problem is.
Sorry for being cheesy. hehe I just think that he deserves the second chance for sticking with the Azkals during their "pre-stardom" years.

agree ako dyan bro... De Jong was part of the azkals achievement it would not be forgotten. He deserved to have a second chance. Football is a very physical game sometimes you cannot control your emotions. Nobody is perfect. Kahit marami na tayong magaling na player pero kailangan parin natin si de jong, bata pa siya i'm sure mag bababago din ugali nya huwag natin husgahan.

OT: Wayne Rooney did not play for Man U for swearing into TV camera at West Ham last weekend. He was banned for 2 games. He was replaced by Dimitar Berbatov (Ukrainian?). Despite that, they won by blanking Neil Etheridge's club; Fulham (2-0). Sad day for Neil's team.

From jonny at filipino football: filipinofootball.blogspot.com/2011/04/jason-de-jong-in-trouble-again.htmlJason de Jong in trouble again Jason de Jong creates trouble again he refused to join the team when persiba was going to depart to Wamena. He cancelled his trip 1 hour before departure and he lied that he got heavy injury when its only light injury and doctor said Ok. Bolaindo.com I advocated giving Jason a second chance but if he continues to show this kind of behavior, Coach Weiss will have no choice but exclude him from the Azkals lineup.

He's an ambassador. His actions reflect our country. He shouldn't be acting this way. True, he's young, but he's got to realize right now that he's messing up.
