Now that's bad. I think de Jong should be banned from playing the national team for a while. That kind of undesciplined conduct should not be tolerated for any azkal.
Also, de Jong's bad image in Indonesia will also give the Azkal's image a less than satisfactory one if he ever plays for the azkals.

Maybe he just regretted signing for that club? Maybe he absolutely hated it over there and wanted them to sack him so he would be free from the contract? In regards to the national team I think that if he is good enough then he should be selected. If we have better players then he should not but I think it is right that they take another look at him. If he acts inappropriately while representing the national team either on the pitch or elsewhere then he should be subject to the same disciplinary procedures that anyone else would be. There are loads of players who make mistakes in their private lives but in most cases it doesn't affect their performance for the national side.

He Should act like one whether he likes it or not, he still is under contract with the club. Hence, he should play and be committed to the club and do what the coach and his bosses wants him to do.

I agree with this one, he should be temporarily banned from the Azkals. A suspension will most definitely be a humbling experience for De Jong.

Temporary ban for playing for the azkals should be enough for de jong. Truth of the matter is, we already have Lucena on midfiled, who in paper is probably the best player on the azkal roster that played the qualifiers.
